Pronounces Rumor Unfounded.
An interview with Judge Palmr confirms the information that we already had as to his and his partners’ intentions as to Hammond. Any rumors that he will remove to that city in the near future is incorrect and unfounded. The firm of Palmer & Carr in connection with Spencer Hammelle, have established an office and business in Hammond, and one or more of the members of these firms will be there much of the time. Some of the firm will probably move there in good time, but who will go is not seettled. Judge Palmer has no intention of changing his residence or retiring from business at any time soon. He wishes his old friends and clients to understand that he may be found at the office as a member of the firm of Palmer & Carr in the future Just as in the past.—Evening Journal.
