New Justice in Union Township.
Since the resignation of Chas. U. Garriott as a justice of the peace in Union township Ihst summer that township has been without a justice. On petition of several citizens Parr, however, Thos. J. Fay has been appointed, and his commission yHH reach him within a few days. There is no immediate indication that a justice will be needed, there, but they want to be ready for action if the occasion arises. ft speaks well for the commonwealth of Union that it can go seven or eight months at a stretch without an arrest. By the way, there are no saloons In Union township now.
