C. Milner of Wabash who has been suffering from appendicitis, came out Wednesday to visit his parents. He is considerably better but still far from well. The Deputy Postmistress of Rensselaer surprised her friends last week , by quietly slipping away and getting married. We mention this simply to* put Postmaster Peck on his guard. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sayler and children, who were guests cf her si ter, Mrs. Clyde Reeve several days last week, returned to Wabash Tuesday for a [ further visit with her parents, Mr. j and Mrs Isaac Leavel, before returning to thoir Dakota home. | Mrs. Anna Blake, who has been spending the summer at her old home in England, returned home Monday evening, and reports a pleasant voyage and very enjoyable visit with relatives and old neighbors. The members and friends of the Methodist Episcopal church deluged the pastor in a veritable storm of post cards In honor of his birthday last Sunday. The ladies' aid also presented to him a beautiful post card album. These gifts are very highly appreciated by him.
