H. Deam Pays Us a Visit.

H. Deam, representing the Chica-, go Industrial Co., with whom the Commercial Club made a contract for the sale of lots ,ip the subdivision to be platted to raise a factory fund, came down from Chicago Friday afternoon and remained here over night He conferred with the option committee on the purchase of property and also with the board di directors of the club. The coinmittee has "belayed action on the acquiring of property until it finds out whether the lots of one or two subdivisions already plotted are available at a reasonable price. It was deemed advisable not to undertake the sale during the holidays and therefore the committee has taken more time than it otherwise would in. the selection of property for the lots. If the matter can be closed up Monday the printing of the posters, for the advertising, and also of the sale contracts, will be done at once' and the sale commenced the first of January and carried through with a rush.
