Jacks & Clark are buying turkeys for the Christmas market. Thomas Spencer shipped his hogs last Tuesday. Abe Woosle”- spent Saturday and Sunday in Lafayette. Jacob Beaver was in Monon Saturday. Mrs. George Wood and Mrs. W. Johnson were in Monon Saturday. Chas. Beaver was on the jury at Rensselaer last week. Mrs. D. R. Benson and Mrs. Wm. McDonald attneded church here Sunday afternoon. « Earl Foulks attended the box social given by the Monon band in Monon Friday evening. Albert and Charles Wood returned home last week from Illinois, where they had been husking corn. Earl Foulke and Clyde Clark attended the “tin shower” at George Culps Saturday evening. Leon Parks is boarding in Wolcott now as he thought it a little cool driving from home. Mr. and Mrs. Underwood and Roy Mattox and Veda Spencer attended church at Mt. Zion Sunday morning. Rev. Belcher and Mr. Mattox ate supper with Mr. and Mrs. George Foulks Sunday evening. I. J. Clark and wife called on Mr. and Mrs. George Foulks Sunday evening.

Rev. Mrs. Belcher will preach here Dec. 20, after Sunday school at 2:30 p. m. All invited. Thos. Johnson Jr. and family, visited Friday night and Saturday with Dan Williams and family. Mrs. D. R. Benson and daughter, and Mrs. Wm. McDonald, of near LaCrosse, visited relatives and friends here the first of the week.

Roy Mattox and Miss Veda Spencer visited Saturday and Sunday with the latter’s grandmother and oher relatives here.
