They are putting in the new bridge across the dredge ditch at Crowders this week.
Roy Williams and wife returned home Monday from his parents, where they spent a few days. A good many attended the meeting Saturday evening at Banner. The meeting was conducted by Rev. Williams. John Woosley has moved on the Graves farm. Rev. Williams and wife spent Saturday night with J. Clark and wife. Mrs. Geo. Wood and Mrs. Willard Johnson were in Monon Saturday. Robert Dickerson attended church at Banner Saturday evening. William Becker is husking corn for Mr. Crowder. Mrs. Thos. Johnson and Mrs. Ed. Johnson were in Lee Wednesday. Richard Foulks and wife were In Monon Wednesday. • Mrs. Roy Williams was In McCoysburg Wednesday. Edward Johnson has been sick this week. Mrs. Chatman has been quite sick this week. Mrs. L. J. Foulks spent Sunday with Mary Johnson. Mrs. Frank May's little daughter, who has been sick for some time, is reported better at this writing. Dan and Lon Chatman are cutting wood this week. We understand the Gifford road will be built on south through this vicinity. It will be a great benefit to this vicinity if it goes through. R. Foulks, R. Williams and Uncle Tom Johnson helped C. Underwood butcher Thursday. G. L. Parks was in this vicinity this week.
Uncle Tom Johnson was in Monon Saturday forenoon. C. Underwood and wife were In Monon Saturday. Some In this vicinity are getting ready to make ice cream. Mr. Beaver was in Monon Saturday. Mr. Herman is buzzing wood this week.
