Since the Demcciat take * su.h delight in saying that Dr. Washburn is tbe financial backer of the paper, we feel free to mention that the Jasper County Democrat according to m rtgftges on file at the recorder’s office Is owned by Mrs. May Babcock, the First National Bank of Rensselaer, and the Mermen thaler linotype C 0.,. of Chieqgo.
