Death of Mrs. Etta Spitler Baker.

Mrs. Etta Spitler Raker, wife of Asa Baker, died Thursday at -the Hahnemann hospital In Chicago, where she had undergone an operation. Deceased was a daughter of Thos. Spitler, and a sister of Eugene Spitler, and spent all her early life in Rensselaer, being a graduate of the Rensselaer public • schools. She was married about twenty years ago to Asa Baker, and they lived for some years on a farm southeast of his city. They moved to Chicago several years ago. Mrs. Baker was in Rensselaer to attend the funeral of her brother, Eugene, about fourteen months ago," and again last Thanksgiving. Deceased was the mother of thrqe sons, who with her husband survive. The remains will be brought to Rensselaer for burial, arriving here Saturday afternoon on the 2:01 train, and a short service will be held at the cemetery.
