Stricken With Paralysis.

Lyman Barce, whose general hea’th has been very poor for the past two years, suffered a Stroke of paralysis last Saturday evening, the left side being affected. Mr. Barce attended the Taft rally at the Ade farm, and remained at Brook until Friday evening, and came home feeling very well. On Saturday evening he was out in the barn lot assisting in the chores and had just opened a gate, through which he had to pass to feed part of the stock. He felt himself getting weak and he called to his son-in-law, Grant Rishling, who hastened to his side. By the time Grant reached him he could not stand and sank to the ground. A physician was at once called and found that the left side was affec'ed and it is uncertain just how serious the case may prove. The speech is also somewhat impaired.
