Should Have Visited Rensselaer.
Chas. P. Hopkins, a newspaper man of McEwen, Tenn., was a social visitor at this office Friday morning, on his return from a visit with relatives in Ohio. —North Judson News. For a number of years Chas. P. Hopkins worked at the Republican office in Rensselaer and later ran the old Remington News, It was in that office and with Mr. Hopkins as editor that the writer gathered his first newspaper experience, and first got printers ink smeared over his forehead Mr. Hopkins had the misfortune to lose his wife about a year ago.
