The Jewish New Year.

The season of Jewish holidays again approaches and loyal orthodox Jews are making preparations to observe the days. The first holiday commences at sun set on Friday, Sept. 25 and continues until sunset on the following Sunday evening. This holiday Is New Year and is the commencement of the 6668th year in the Jewish world. The second holiday is Yotn Kippnr on Oct.. 5. This is the day of atonement. It is spent in fasting and praying to atone for the wrongs committed. All of the stores and other places of business owned by the orothodox Jews will be closed on that day.
