Fire at Kniman Thursday.

The residence of John Stephenson, a farmer living north of Kniman, ■was burned Thursday morning between 7 and 8 o’clock. The building and contents were destroyed. Mr. Stephenson was working a short distance from home when he saw flames issuing from the roof and he hastened to the scene, but arrived too late to save any of the effects of the house. The house and contents were insured for SI,OOO in the A. J. Harmon agency.
