Gathering in Honor of the Yeoman Family.
One of the most enjoyable and memorable family gatherings that has taken place in this county for some time took place at the home of Cicero Pancoast Sunday, when eighty-seven friends and relatives of the Yeoman family gathered there upon request with well filled baskets, to spend the day. The weather was ideal and the guests began arriving at an early hour and long before noon the entire assembly was present
The dinner was spread in the shade of the large trees surrounding the home and all proceeded to enjoy a most sumptous repast After dinner a number of speeches were delivered, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all. The coming together of so many friends made conversation a chief topic, and until a late hour in the evening the guests indulged in this pastime. Those present from afar were Mark Yeoman, of Kingman, Kans, and Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Richardson, of Fowler.
