Mrs. All Moore and children visited In Monticello over Sunday. Mrs. Pearl Kight, of LaCrosse, haa been visiting relatives here. Quite a lot of fish are being brought to Fair Oaks from the river. Dick Mallatt and family, of Remington, are visiting relatives here hie week. Richard Melser and family, of Brookston, visited Mrs. Cottingham Sunday. • Mrs. Littlefield, of Rensselqer, visited F. K. Erwin a couple of days this week. / Faun Casey visited her aunt, Mrs. Dickinson, of Rensselaer, last week and attended the home coming. Frank Me., who has been working near Cissna Park, 11L, for about seven months, was home for a week, and returned last Thursday. There Is an effort being made to organize and build an M. E. church in the neighborhood of the Harris school house, a few miles west of town. Laurence Halleck, Roy Gundy, Orval Bringle, Mildred Gundy and Mattle McKay all left Fair Oaks Sunday to attend high school In Rensselaer the coming term. , t School begins here September 21st and we understand that Charles Blue is to be the principal. Jesse Smith will teach the intermediate and Mrs. Gwin the primary. Guss Munden and wife were hero Saturday visiting old friends and neighbors, but were unable to stay long on account of a big tomato crop. Guss said be bad to get back and attend to it A party was given at the home at. Jennings Winslow in honor of bis Bth birthday. Most of the little folks old enough to go to parties were there * from 4 to 7 and had supper and a genuine good time.
