Stung by Bumble Bees.
Fred. Biers, an aged farmer living one mile north and one mile east of Remington, was so severely stung by bumble bees Tuesday of this week that he was unconscious for some time and it was thought that he was going to die. According to Ed Sutherland, who was in Rensselaer today, Mr. Biers was fall plowing when he ran into a nest of the bees.' They attacked him and he was stung about the face and head and on the hands, and fell from the plow, and when he was picked up he was unconscious. A physician was called and he was f 1 n - ally brought to, but he was suffering intensely from the stings and it will probably be some days before he could get out again.
