Ames Fined Monday Morning.

Ed Ames, the fanner who drew a revolver and threatened to shoot John A. Williams, another farmer, last Friday evening, was arrested Monday on a warrant sworn out by Nightwatch Thomas, charging him with carrying concealed weapons. He appeared before Squire Irwin and was fined >1 and costs, amounting to >8.50. He paid the fine. The Justice also directed that the revolver that was taken from him be destroyed, as is now required by law. The revolver was an expensive one, having an automatic movement, and is said to have cost •18. >
