The Remington Knights of Pythias were again defeated by the Goodland Knights in a game' of base ball Tuesday, the score being Goodlandl4, Remington 12# This was thq second time that Goodland had won from Remington and gives the Newton county team the right to claim the K. of P. baseball championship in Newton and Jasper counties. Newt Wickwire played with Goodland and was awarded the watermelon for pullnig off the best play. Sam Meade, the Goodland first baseman, was hit on the left arm by a pitched ball in the Bth inning, and after the game it was found that he had sustained a fracture of the arm Just below the elbow.
