Headquarters Moved to Kersey.
The Chicago & jyabash Valley have moved their headquarters and general office here from Kankakee, 111. Mr. A. V. Marti has been appointed general freight agent, and is moving here from Chicago. Every house in town is occupied or spoken for and there are applications for many more houses here. Construction work has commenced on the north end and a car of Italians were shipped out from Chicago and have been put on the new work on the north end. - The dry land dredge has commenced work and is building grade and the work train and steam shovel are running every day hauling ballast and fixing up the track already laid and indications are that the > road will be pushed into Gary as fast as possible. —Kersey Correspondence Kankakee Valley Review.
