Democrats for County Local Option.

(Seymour Republican.) Down in Daviess county the Democrats have nominated their candidate for representative and in a resolution adopted by the convention declared for local option with the county as a unit Thus they pledge their candidate, if he is elected, to vote with the Republicans on local option. The Daviess county Democrats do not indorse the brewers’ local option plank Inserted in the Democratic state platform. In fact temperance Democrats all over the state are individually declaring against this same plank. They do not propose to fall 1 in behind the brewers and Tom Taggart and do their 'bidding when it comes to the local option question. Like the Democrats of Daviess courffy they are declaring for a local option law with the county as a unit and will vote for members of the legislature who will support such, a measure.
