BUFFALO LOST TIE GAME BY FORFEITURE

The “Bisons” in Suits Variegated as the Rainbow, Had No Trouble Taking Care of the “Junior’s” Flies.

The game of baseball between the Buffalo team and the Rensselaer Juniors Wednesday afternoon went Into the 10th Inning a tie of 12 to 12, and after the Bisons bad failed to score in the tenth frame, they forfeited the game to the Juniors, who were entitled to their 10th inning bats, and who would have won any way beyond much doubt. The Juniors bad Dobbins, of ths Wrens pitch, and Terrance Thompson caught him and < did very well for a new man behind the bat. They succeeded in striking out 16 men, or just .half of the total out*. The visitors presented a funny appearance In suits of all ths colors of the rainbow. Three wore bright red suits, (me wore black, two others were dingy gray, one had a blue suit the color of a two-stick kite, and another wore the Pleasant Ridge blue, with red braid trimmings. They were a real cheerful lot of ball players and did not place much stress on the result The Juniors are Improving with each game and several of them will get into fast company some time if they stay with it
