Judge Myers possess a judicial mind and is credited by the press of the State as one of the ablest men on the bench. Besides being an able jurist Mr. Myers is a fearless judge, his decisions are based on justice, and his re-election will be ap honor to the Republican party apd to the State of Indiana. As the days go by the Republicans grow more enthusiastic over the nomination of Taft and Sherman. They liked them from the start, but they just seem to get better and better the more one thinks about it. Taft was the man the people wanted and the man Roosevelt wanted because he knew Taft would carry out his policies for a square deal for all the people, rich and poor alike. The people also got the platform they deserved, one upon which all can stand and which, when Taft and a Republican Congress is elected, will give the people laws that will continue the reign of property in our land by wiping out some inequalities that have crept in. Peaceful Bill and Sunny Jim are the boys that will get them. —Greenfield Tribune. Scientists claim that under sufficient heat diamonds will melt like charcoal. Gee, now I’m glad that I took off my 16-karat diamond necklte pin before I mowed my lawn yesterday.
