Hay making is about completed in this neighborhood. Wonder why it is Walter gets so many telephone calls. Charley Reed and wife were Rensselaer goers Tuesday. Lillie Brown is working for Mrs. Garry Snediker at present. Philip Durant commenced threshing for Joe Pullins Wednesday. We are needing rain in this locality, but don’t need any more heat. Miss Stella Brown was helping Mrs. L. A. Greenlee cook for threshers Tuesday. r Elmer Brown and Jay Stanley called on Fred Anderson Sunday afternoon. Mr. Burns and daughter of Illinois are visiting with ther son and brother Isaac through threshing season. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Knight of Yukon, Oklahoma, are visiting their daughters Mrs. L A, Greenlee and Mrs. James Shook for a few weeks. They report crops looking fine there. Mr. Thomas Brown and son Frank and Jim Stanley called on Spencer Greenlee northwest of ML Ayr Monday.
