L. W. Stockwell Likes Tennessee.

In’ remitting for his republican, L. W. Stockwell, proprietor of the Town Creek Mills, at Sparta, Tenn., remarks that that la the country for him. He says his mill is enjoying a good trade, and as it is run by water power he has no fuel to buy, no fireman to hire and no engine to keep in repair. He says that he has 60 acres as fine corn as ever grew in Jasper county, now all in silk and tassel. All crops are looking fine there and prices on last year’s crops range as fallows: Corn 85 cents, wheat 95 cents and hay $lB a ton.
