Visit to Purdue University on August 6 Will Be Worth Much to the Progressive Farmer.
Purdue University never loses sight of the farmer and fOr years It has devoted much money and much time toward helping the farmer of Indiana make the very most of his opportunities. And whenever the faculty at the university have had something good that they wished to present to the farmers they have found a-will-ing assistant in dispensing this knowledge in the Monon railroad, whose officials have willingly planned excursions in the' interest of diffusing knowledge to the agriculturist And Purdue University and the Monon railroad are working together in the excursion to Lafayette and the university and the soldiers’ home on Thursday, August 6th, and the farmer who takes advantage of this opportunity to visit Purdue will have nothing to regret The schedule of trains is elsewhere pubUahed in this paper, giving the rates for the trip and the appended Itinerary of the visit is taken from bills, published by the Monon railroad.
