Looking to that end,Lhe Itetpublican is authorized to call a meeting for Friday n|ght of this week at the .court house, .and it can probably be held on the east front of the building and if found best .can be adjourned to the east court room. If the meeting is well attended and the proper spirit of enthusiasm is evidenced, vcmemlttees will be .appointed and the big show advertising begun without delay. An effort will be made to induce every person that ever lived in Rensselaer, every one who ever had relatives living here, .and every one whe „ever had a desire to visit the town, .OOme in and be here for the greatest gathering of old Jasperites ever held. : At is thought that .the first week In ; September offers the best advantag e for (the event, but these things can all bp settled at the meeting Friday night.
