Democrats Nominate Darroch

Judge William Darroch, of Kentland was nominated for congress by the 10th district democrats at Monticello, Wednesday. Judge Darroch was the nominee of his party against the present incumbent, Edgar D. Crumpacker, two years ago, and it is customary to let the same nominee make the race a second time if he desires to do so. ’ Three names were presented to the convention, Viz. William Darroch, of Kentland; Edward P.Honan, of this city, and Michael Duffy, of Fowler. But one baitot was required to decide tl e contest, Mr. Darroch receiving 50, A! r. Honan 31 and Mr. Duffy 17. On n otion •<?¥ Mr. Honan the nomination o Darroch was made unanimous. 'The <convention of the Carroll-White judicial circuit was held the &me day and at the same place, and restated in the nomination of Wesley Taylor,of Monon, for prosecuting attorney.
