They were Fred, Art and Georgs Cole, three live “Coles.” It is more than a quarter of a century ago since these hoys and their mother and sister moved from Rensselaer to Lafayette. Only one of them has been back here much since that time and that is Art, who has been a railway mail clerk on th#Monon railroad for many years, and for much of that time has bad themilk train run. His brother Fred hs been a clerk in the mailing division of the Lafayette post-office for the past eighteen years, hut has been a very infrequent, visitor at Rensselaer. George 8., who is the youngest o t the family, is now a railroad conductor on the Denver and Rio Grande j railway, and runs out of Alamosa, Colo. He has not been here for 14 years and only one time since hs moved from here,, almost 28 years ago, but he is remembered by many of . h}s boyhood acquaintances. He and his wife and children are visiting his brothers and their married sisters at. Lafayette. This trio of Colas has spent the day visiting their, old friends and there was a good laugh wherever they talked as some incident of their early lives was recalled. It does a fellow a lot of good to get back to Rensselaer and it does Rensselaer people a lot .of good to have them come back, and all are especially glad when tbs visitor brlngß baofc an Indication, that he is attaining success and happiness in his hornet And Rensselaer people seem to succeed wherever they locate.
