Rosenbaum was taken to Chicago this afternoon by his locat physician, where he will undergo an examination by specialists. His health has been very poor since he suffered the paralytic stroke last fall and recently he has been suffering from nervous prostration. There was quite a little frost last night, various early risers in various parts of town and country reporting that quite a little of the congealed dew. Unless in very low lands it is not probable that the frost was severe enough to hurt the corn. Today it looks like warming up again.

Mr. Herman and Miss Lena Tuteur went to Ann Arbor, Mich., this morning to be present Thursday night at the commencement of the university of that place, their brother, C. Arthur Tuteur, being one of the graduates from the department of law. After the commencement Arthur and Lena and Herman will visit both Deroit and Cleveland before returning home. e . l Vern Jacks has gone to Crawfordsville to work in the confectionary store of his brother-inlaw, L. L. Lefler. As he was the leader of the band a reorginazation of the band has taken place and Jerry Healy will hereafter play, the leading cornet, and the band is temporarily being direct-ed-by John Healy. Their first practice since Vern went away was held last night and proved extremely satisfactory.

Griffin, of the Remington Press was here today advertising Fountain Park Assembly. Lowell Payne, of Indianapolis, returned home today, after a visit with Mary Leatherman, ■ i - Aaron Timmons, the Dunnville saloon keeper was married at Valparaiso Tuesday to Mrs. Nellie Gramps, of Porter county. Mrs, A. E. Bolser returned yesterday evening from a three weeks’ visit witji relates and friends at Franklin, Crawfordswle and Indianapolis.
