Death from Drowning at Monticello.
A young man named Reams, residing near Monticello, was wading with some other boys in the Tippecanoe river at Monticello Sunday, and was drowned. It Is said he was standing on a rock and slipped off into deep water and as he could not swim he was drowned. The other boys made a desperate effort to rescue him, but were unable to do so. as he wan much heavier than any of them. His age was 20 years.
