First Concert Stopped by Rain.

There was a large crowd gathered on the streets Thursday night for the initial band concert, and the boys had just completed their first piece when a heavy wind storm came up. They managed to play through a second piece before the rain started but then they were compelled to give it up. The music was of a fine quality and the sxpesslons of appreciation were numerous. The next concert will be held next Thursday evening and they will occur regularly on Thursday nights thereafter. People should come here from the surrounding country and swell the merry crowd. Just before the concert began the fire company made a . daring run up Washington street horses make a fine appearance and the company is the best in any Indiana city of 10,000 or less population. It is worth coming miles to see this feature of the band night program. (
