The City Council.

The city council met with the mayor and all members of the council present. The city attorney was instructed to prepare a resolution for an 8 inch sewer on the east side of Van Rensselaer street from Grace and -Rutsen street, and connect with Rutsen street sewer. The superintendent at water plant was instructed to have entire tank painted. C. W. Duvall et al petitioned for an alley in block 15. The petition waa granted and the dty attorney was instructed to prepare a resolution for said alley and report the same to the council. A resolution was adopted declaring the north part of Van Rensselaer street from Cornelia to Park street be constructed with cement curbs and macadam, according to petition filed April 13th. - \
