New Telephone Cards.

The Republican within the past week has printed the new telephone cards for the Jasper County Telephone Co., and the cards have some 18 or 20 more names than composed the 1907 list. This proves that the telephone is an institution of business necessity and general convenience that it is here to stay. And if a person once gets a telephone In the bouse they are quite apt to keep it there, for the convenience is worth the cost The company, including the Bruner lines, all of which names are on the local card, has 784 names of subscribers on the new card, and there were 1,000 cards printed. All subscribers are entitled to the new cards and many have already been supplied with them.
