For some years pSst duck hawks hare used the tower of the post office department building in Washington as a place of refuge. From their safe retreat high above the street they make dally trips to the Potomac, where they pick up many a luckless coot and grebe, which are forthwith sacrificed to appease the seemingly never completely satisfied hawk hunger.—Fur News.
