County Commissioner’s Proceedings.
One wooden pile bridge in Wheatfield township, and one steel bridge in Milroy township ordered re-adver-tised. One- steel bridge in Hanging Grove township ordered advertised. Contracts to be let June 1, 1908. Contractor Smith allowed $1828.88 for work on Knowlton stone road and $2526.64 for work on Ott Stone road. Wnr Brown contractor for, Hebron Grade in Keener township allowed $1,139.95. The reviewers in the J. T. Lamson highway on county line between Jasper and Newton counties presented report showing that highway would of public utility and allowed no damages. Which report was approved and road ordered established to the width of 40 feet Auditor directed to send transcrept of proceedings to auditor of Newton county. Estimate filed by engineer in the Nessius ditch, for $705.78 of amount due contractor James A. May. John Wagoner and Joseph Nissius filed objections to allowances. Same continued until June term.
Report of county surveyor filed in the Margaret J. Lewis et al ditch. Same continued for notice.
Contract for supplies for county farm for quarter ordered let at June term.
