“Mike” Porter Operated On.

Walter V. Porter's youngest son and namesake, Walter, Jr., more commonly known about town as “Mike,” was taken to Chicago Wednesday by his father and his family physician for an examination by a specialist. H'.s hearing had been slightly defective for some time, ever since he had suffered a severe case of grip last fall, and it was decided to have an examination made. The specialist found that there was a growth in the roof of the mouth, and Mr. Porter decided to have it removed while there. The little patient was able to be brought home in the evening, the operation not being a serious one and it is thought he will soon recover and that his hearing will be entirely restored. ,
