J. Kirby Risk Proposes Fountain Park Gathering.
J. Kirby Risk, democratic district chairman, of Lafayette, was in Remington Tuesday to meet the Fountain Park people for the purpose of arranging for a great democratic rally day during the session of the assembly. The leading candidates of the district are to be present and in addition to these the party’s candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor. It will be a big day for Fountain Park.
| It is probable also that a rally day , will be arranged by the Republicans . at which time James E. Watson nd . others will be present. To have ' both meetings arranged for the same day and a joint debate between the governorship candidates would add ito the interest of the campaign in this part of the state. ; A better place than Fountain Park could not be found for such meetings or meeting, if a Joint one. It would be free from many of the objectionable things that often accompany political gatherings. Good order and a good time would be guaranteed by the association. ,
