Democrats Nominate Senator and Representative.

The democrats held a double-header convention at Monon Wednesday, or, more correctly If the position they will occupy when the returns come In Is taken into consideration, a double-tailed convention. They nominated both senator and representative for the respective districts. For senator to oppose Abraham Halleck they nominated J. D. Law, a retired banker, from Morocco, and a very well known and much respected man. For representative they nominated Guy Gerber, a graduate of the Rensselaer high school only two years ago, and who is now attending college at the University of Illinois, being a freshman. Guy Is a nice young fellow, whose politics were Inherited from a partisan father, and he is not altogether to blame for them.
