Elizur Sage has just purchas:d of Crouch & Son, of Lafayette, an imported Belgian draft stallion, for which he paid the large price of $5,000, but he undoubtedly has the best draft horse that ever was ownsd In this part of Indiana. He is black in color and has a breadth and streagih that make him a most attractive^ animal. His weight Is 2,150 pounds and be is four years old this spring. It is possible that Mr. Sage has bought a higher class horse than the breeders here will patrpnize, but the better the stock the better the prices and the better the desire for the future and it is really a great thing to have such fine stock owned in this county.
