Caves of a Cannibal Race.
Strange evidences of cannibalism have been brought to light with the recent opening up of caves at One Tree Hill, Maungaklekle, New South Wales, and another link has been added to the chain of Interest encircling this celebrated spot. In one cave great piles of human bones have been discovered, mixed up indiscriminately and thrown down In one huge conical heap. These bones belonged to victims taken by ths Maoris in battle and slaughtered for culinary purposes. Then they were dropped down the funnel-shaped mouth of the cave Into darkness and oblivion.
