The Murdered Girl’s Funeral.

The funeral of Daisy Maydell Phillips, who was murdered at her home in the south part of Rensselaer, last Thursday night, was held at the late residence Sunday morning at 9:30 o’clock. Rev. G. H. Clarke, of the Christian church, conducted the services. Quite a large crowd attended. The remains were taken to the depot and shipped on the 10:55 train to Lee and buggies met the relativesand friends there and they were taken to the Osborne cemetery for burial.
