DEMOCRATS HOLD COUNTY CONVENTION
Well Attended Convention Selects Lambs for the Slaughter In Coming Election. n A quite well attended ,* democratic convention, all townships being reprerented but Keener, met in the court house this Saturday afternoon and nominated the following county ticket: For treasurer, A 1 Peters, of Marlon township. For Recorder, C. W. Harner, of Carpenter. For Sheriff, William I. Hoover, of Marion. For Surveyor, Frank Garriott, of Union. For Coroner, Dr. A. J. Miller, of Marion. For Commissioner First District, Thos. Maloney, of Gillam. For Commissioner Third District, George Fox, of Carpenter. Simon Fendig and • John Bowie were elected delegates to the state convention from the first district; E. P. Honan and N. Littlefield from the second; Frank Welsh and A. J. Beasley from the third and Lucius Strong at large.
