And Then He Had Another One.
And tneh 'Squire irwm scored another one, just to keep in the lead. This one took place in the c’erk”s office, shortly after noon today, Friday. The groom was 40 years of age and came from Manistique, Mich., to claim a Jasper county bride that is still less than eighteen, but what she lacked, in age she made up in the willingness her parents had that she become his bride. He is engaged in the livery business and they will reside at Manistique. Her home was in the neighborhood of Gifford and her father’s name is John Harris. This puts the “marrying squire” one In the lead for the week and he is apt to retain the lead, too, for Saturday marriages, if there are any, are quite apt to be Squire weddings.
