Watson Seems to Be Sure of Nomination.
There now seems to be very little doubt but that James E. Watson will receive the republican nomination for governor, and his manager, John K. Gowdy, is sending out the statement that he now has six hundred delegates Of course the opposition to Mr. Watson is quite stubborn, and if he should fail to get the nomination on the first or second ballots he might possibly fail altogether, but his lead seeqis so certain that his friends are declaring that his nomination will result on the first or second ballot.
