Chas. Baker moved to town Monday.* James Corbin will move to Morocco in a few days. Rev. Ballard holds service at the M. E. church Saturday evening. Mrs. John Brooks was sick a few days with threatened pneumonia. Dr. J. T. Martin visited his parents a few days at Indianola, lowa. Wm. Stucker and Joe Shanlaub, of North Manchester, are visiting friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Costella, of Kankakee, spent a few days with their daughter, Mrs. W’ilbur Hart Mrs. C. J. Hopkins was called to Hammond last Friday on account of the sickness of her son Julian. While Harvey Goff was hauling chrr last Thursday the wagon wheel ran over his foot, laying him up for a few days.
