Needs 500 Good Republicans.

In remitting for a year’s subscription to the Republican from Liberty Center, Wells county, J. D. Babcock remarks that all that county needs to make it a second paradise is about 500 more good republicans, and that he thinks they will get them this year if Bryan is nominated Jor president by the democrats. Mr. Babcock writes that Bluffton, the county seat, and a town of about 5,000 population has just concluded a successful- campaign to rid Itself of saloons. They were routed by a majority of 200. And it is quite a factory town.
