Another Old Resident Gane.

Mrs. Mineva Jane (Keesling) Nash died at her residence in Wolcott, Feb. 26, 1908. She lacked but two weeks of being 82 years of age. In 1848 she married James Nash in Henry county, this state, and in about 1860 they settled near Medaryville, and a few years later moved over the line into Jasper county. Here a family of nine children out of eleven born to them were raised to mature years. Here James Nash died about 1884. About ten years age she with one daughter and her only two sons moved to Wolcott, where she has since lived. Early in life she united with the Methodist church and her entire life has been consistent with the golden rule. Five daughters and one son survive her, towit: Mrs. Mary Richardson and Mrs. Susan Parker, of Medaryville; Mrs. Ellen Alter, of Goodland; Mrs. Elzena Martin, of Wolcott, and Christena and Thos. R. Nash, who lived with and cared for their invalid mother. She also leaves 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
