Irwin, abandoned their tile factory west of town and have purchased a half interest in a newer and more up to date plant near Wolcott Mr. Irwin has thoroughly examined the plant and the surrounding land and finds shale, from which brick and tile are manufactured, to a depth of 100 feet Ed Irwin, the son, will move to Wolcott at once and take chrge of the plant There Is an opening in Rensselaer for a tile factory, but the clay at the mill west of town is exhausted.
