National Capitol in Soap.
A novel entitled “The National Capitol in Soap, or Weary Willies Beware,” might be suggested by the display in the window of the G. E. Murray Co. In advertising a new soap, product the representative of the manufacturers has built a miniature soap reproduction of the United States capitol, and a contest has been inaugurated that permits each person buying a cake of the soap to register a guess as to how many cakes there are in the structure, and the person who comes the closest to the right answer will receive a prize.' The second section of the title to the novel is suggested by the aversion tramps are supposed to have for soap, and, if the qualities are anywhere near the claim that is made for the soap, it would tke an ordinary tramp sick just to read the testimonials. -
