Civil War Veteran Dies.

Wm. Kenton, a veteran of the civil war and an old resident of Rensselaer, died at the Sqldiers’ Home in Marion on Tuesday last. The cause of his death was paralysis. Mr. Kenton was a brother of Mrs. George Morgan of this city and an uncle of Ed and Ora Duvall. He served throughout the civil war with the 48th Ind. Volunteers and Mark Hemphill of this city was a member of his company. The funeral was held at the Home in Marion qn Wednesday.
