Jasper Eggs Did the Trick.
The Lowell poultry show held Feb. 11th, 12th and 13th, was a great success, and it 1b gratifying to know that Jasper county eggs produced the prize winning White Leghorn chickens. The eggß were from Ed Herath’a farm, just northwest of town, and were sold to Lowell parties last year. There' were over 300 exhibits altogether, and the barred rocks, white rocks, leghornß and other varieties were there, and there was also a good number of ducks and turkeya Over >4OO was given in premiums. Some young white rock cockerels sold for as high as >lO. An enjoyable feature of the show was a home talent entertainment given two evenings, and the show Is Bald to have been a financial success sb well as an enjoyable and educating show. C. E. Prior, the progressive egg and butter man of Rensselaer, attended the show.
